We need volunteers to help us deliver groceries to the diabetics and vegetarians. Once again we will be using our latest "mini store" concept for residents on regular diets. Residents come to the community room to select items of their choice. Students and parents work in teams to help the seniors back to the apartments with their groceries.
This is a wonderful family event, and students receive community service hours for volunteering.
Food on the 15th is excited to again be participating in the River HIll Fourth of July Parade on Thursday, July 4, 2013. Set up is at 8:15 a.m., parade begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at the River Hill Fire House about an hour later. Please contact us if you would like to volunteer to help with the parade. The first 10 people to volunteer and show up on the day of the parade receive a FREE Food on the 15th t-shirt. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
